Easy 5

I took 3 days of complete rest after the marathon and went for an easy 5 miler today.
My hamstrings and calves are especially tight and I don't have that bounce in my step yet, but it was good to get out. No garmin, no watch, no ipod, no phone, no worrying about pace or splits, just me and the rain.
It was very enjoyable. Very very slow. I imagine I was running at a 8 min pace. I walked up hills and took frequent breaks where the view was good to stretch.
I might take a few more days off before I jump into next weeks marathon training plan.
Maybe.
