Week ending 12/30/2012


This was a fairly productive week, if nothing else, it was a lot of fun.
My friend Steve had the week off from work so we did 3 semi-long (time wise) mountain runs:

  1. Finger rock to Mt. Kimball (10-ish miles, 4,500ft EG)
  2. Palisades trail (out 10 miles, back 10 miles, 4,500ft EG)
  3. Loma Alta (out 10 miles, back 10 miles, 3,500 ft EG)

We ran at a fairly relaxed pace just to enjoy some time in the mountains.

I also FINALLY beat my PR from SCVC to the top of Blackets Ridge. My new PR is 32 minutes flat (beat the old time by 30 seconds).

My body is feeling healthy and I am considering racing the 50K in Aravaipa's Coldwater Rumble, but my main goal is still OP50 in March .
